ABOUT US
Give Texas Life is a collaboration between the South Texas Blood
& Tissue Center and the State of Texas Department of Health Services for the
purpose of sharing information with the public about the importance of organ,
tissue and eye donation – through education, outreach programs and the Web. As
healthcare educators, it is our mission to provide factual information to the
community and to connect with the diversity of cultures that populate our state
– with the goal of ensuring that every patient in need of a transplant may find
a donor.
